Laura Wee Lay Laq, ceramic artist — Vancouver, Canada
Laura doesn't have a website, so I've created a page for her here. She's one of Canada's
best and most accomplished ceramic artists. Her work frequently reflects her heritage
in the traditions of the indigenous cultures of the Pacific northwest.

David Ostrem, painter — Vancouver, Canada
David is an artist whose cartoon-like images deserve to be better known. His paintings
often offer up wry and amusing comments on what it means to be an artist. Much of the
fun is in the details as the artist fills these paintings with many pointed cultural references.

Bob Acton, photographer — Ottawa, Canada
When in Ottawa I spend Thursday nights playing harmonica at Mike Ktenas's Stellar Cast Blues
    Showcase
at Irene's Pub. Bob is the resident (and most excellent) photographer of this event.

Dada Post — Howard McCalebb's art site in Berlin
A new art space in Berlin being developed by American ex-pat sculptor Howard McCalebb. Evolving
out of an old smoked fish factory it's still a work in progress, but already has a vibrant gallery that is
becoming vital to the Berlin art scene.

Art Coyote — an international artist's collective
An informal group of artists and friends who generally work independently but come together on
occasion to exhibit. This site documents those exhibitions as well as selected projects by individual
members. Also provided are links to the websites of many of these artists.

Joss Bachhofer, mixed media artist — Munich, Germany
Joss experiments with photographs and found images taken from public media which he
then enlarges, cuts up, and thoroughly re-works before tiling back together again.

Patrick Willett, painter/photographer — Buffalo, New York, USA
Patrick creates vivid watercolors and atmospheric photographs. Landscape and architecture
    — often painted with dynamic distortion — are his most frequent subject matter.

Morwenna Catt, fabric artist and painter — Bradford, England
Morwenna is an inventive and very talented artist who's disturbing (and yet captivating) art
is inspired by (among other things) cartoons, toys and the nightmares of children. Her blog
on these pages keeps you in touch with her remarkable creativity.

BridA Art Collective, concept and installation artists — Sempas, Slovenia
A talented and ambitious group of young artists (Juri Pavlica, Sendi Mango and Tom
Kersevan are the principals) who engage in installations, happenings and public projects.

Linda Hoard, painter — Poulsbo, Washington State, USA
An exceptionally talented photo-realist artist and a terrific colorist. Her most frequent
subject is flowers, which she paints in large scale.

Artists Connect — a new blog of international artists
A communal blog featuring a talented, wide-ranging group of international artists. Numerous links
to the artist's personal websites and blogs. Artists Connect has a lively chat room for members and
invited guests, allows for twitter posts, and will soon have a sales room. Open to new membership.

Otto Holler, digital artist — Krefeld, Germany
Otto is a digital artist. His images come from a number of sources including photography and
also wallpaper and textile design, of which he has a large collection.

Randy Richmond, digital and photographic artist — Muscatine, Iowa, USA
Part surrealist and part eco-activist, Randy's photographic constructions suggestively place a
variety of animals and objects at odds in often lurid natural settings. Everything seems out of
place, and the resulting impression is that of a world in the throes of some evolving disaster.
